Mystery Illnesses

If you feel like you've tried everything, want to stop taking medications that only mask symptoms, or are tired of hearing "It's all in your head"-

" I’m not crazy. There is a legitimate reason for how I feel. It can be fixed. I am not alone. I am not stuck like this forever. It’s not all in my head. I’m not destined to be a prisoner trapped in my own body for the rest of my days. There’s a name for this hell I am in. “Brain fog”. There is a way out. There is a genetic reason for this. It’s not something I did wrong. It is something I can recover from."  Lyndsey T.

 Literally Sick and Tired

Many of the patients who visit The Lyday Center are at the end of their rope.  They have felt unwell for years, have usually spent years visiting different doctors and specialists, trying to obtain an accurate diagnosis for their illnesses.  They have tried treatment after treatment in the hopes of finally feeling better but, instead, they are left feeling ill and hopeless. They often are tired of taking medications that only treat their symptoms and never really help – or worse, make them feel even more ill. They are literally sick and tired.

Chronic illness can zap your energy, cause mental distress, and make every day harder than it should be. Too many people accept that this is their new life when it doesn’t have to be. It is possible to recover from chronic and long-term illnesses without relying on medications.

Functional and integrative medical approaches mean you can do it naturally and in a way that treats the cause of the illness, not just the symptoms. This ensures long-term recovery that allows your body to heal, rebuild its immune system, and eliminate the chances of secondary treatment-related ailments cropping up down the road.

We have all heard the horror stories of chemotherapy and the destruction it causes to not only cancer cells but the rest of the body as well. That is a perfect example of how conventional medical treatments can cause unanticipated consequences throughout the body.
